SALAM =)

Today we act in a group . We act the New Prince of Persia and Hang Tuah .
My group are Fara , Jaja , Mira , Afiq , Wasim and Am ..

“Al – Kisah” . .
  First of all the king was dying. Then he degrade a throne to princess .  Afiq feel jealous . And then Wasim know future life . Wasim was killed Afiq .
Lastly Afiq change to be Taming Sari .

Mid term was coming . .

  Today we learnt about subject verb agreement .
What are the  verb used with the singular subject ??


:: SINGULAR  VERB ::
is , was , has
:: PLURAL VERB ::
are , were , have

  Verb agree with their subject in number . Singular verb are used with singular subjects and plural verbs go with plural subject .
For example :
SINGULAR
PLURAL
The door is open .
The door are open
The man was here .
The men were here
The child has a balloon .
The children have balloons
He does not swim well
They do not swim well
The dogs guard house
The dogs guard the house

e. g.: 1- These ____ the boxes he ____ asking for this morning .
         These
are the boxes he was asking for this morning .
         2- A collection of stamps _____ found inside the album.
         A collection of stamps
is found inside the album .
        3- (Do) he (agree) to my plan ?

QUESTION:
1- Either the instructor nor the students  (has / have)  any control 0ver the number of 8 o’ clock classes .
answer : have  because  nearest  the  subject

NOTE::
>>  When two or more subjects are joined by and , we always use a plural verb
>>  A singular verb subject  with other words joined to it by with , like and as well as still takes a singular verb .
>>  Collective nouns and countable nouns  are always followed by singular verb

  Today we have learnt how to make body in paragraph. Supporting details must have unity and connection with controlling ideas. In the body paragraph must has a concluding sentence for each paragraph. That conclusion must can be remind people about the controlling ideas.

**)  Supporting details are specific ideas that develop, explain, or support the main idea.
**)  The topic sentence can be placed at the beginning of a paragraph, within a paragraph, or at the end of a paragraph.
**)  The central idea is the main idea of a passage made up of two or more paragraphs.
**)  The thesis statement is a sentence that states a longer passage’s central idea.

  Today we learnt about identifying topic in a sentence . Topic sentences express the general ideas of a paragraph. Supporting details are sentences which provide further information about the general sentence. Topic sentence must have topic and controlling ideas .

We are going to learn :
>> How to identify the topic of a text .
>> How to identify topic sentences .
> >How to identify supporting details .
For example :
One of the most important reason
 why people wake up late (topic) in the early morning is staying up late at night (controlling ideas).

    Today is Monday. Acting again? erghhhh =( . Although my tongue twisted to talk in English , I also do the best in speaking . .”Practise make perfect” . hehe =) . .Now Miss Zue give we some activity . Today we must act in short musical . ‘Lalalalalalalaaaaa..... My group got topic of a school  bus crash with six student . My group are am , afiq , wasim , fara , mira and jaja. Here are plot of story  .
Students : ika ,fara ,am , mira , jaja and wasim .
Driver bus : Afiq .
 
        Wasim do not follow the trip. He feel jealous ang angry because he cannot follow the trip  .
He plan to puncture the tyre of bus .(wasim sing a song and puncture the tyre bus .

Am : Kids , will have our trip today. .
        So, get on the bus .

On the bus
Afiq : are you ready kids ??
students: I I captain . .
Afiq :I can’t hear you  ?
students : I I captain .

On the bus , the students sing a song . .
The wheel on the bus  go round and round (3x). . .

  Suddenly the bus lose control and the crash happen . .

  Today we learnt about pronouns. There are many types of pronouns, such as personal pronouns , personal objective , personal subjective , possessive , indefinite , interrogative , demonstrative , demonstrative ,reflexive.
Personal pronouns
 A pronoun is a word that takes the place of one or more nouns. The most frequently used pronouns are called personal pronouns.  They refer to people or things.
 
Subject pronouns
 A subject pronoun is used as the subject of a sentence.
for example :
1-  
She is my best friend.
2- 
It is my dog.
3 -Does
he know the answer?
4-
You and I will meet later.

Object Pronouns.
An  object  pronoun is used as the direct/indirect object or the object of a preposition .
for example :
1-Give the book to
me.
2- The teacher gave
her a reprimand.
3- I will tell
you a story.
4- Adib read it to them.

Possessive Pronouns
A possessive pronoun is a pronoun that shows who or what has something.  A possessive pronoun may take the place of a possessive noun.
for example :
1- Homer’s story is famous. 
   His story is famous.
2-This story is Homer’s. 
   This story is his.
      InDefinite  Pronouns.
       A and The are indefinite pronouns. They use only with a singular countable nouns . An only used with words            which begin with a vowel sound or a silent ‘h’ sound . A used with words which begin with a consonant sound .
for example :

- Would you like a pear or an apple?
note : pear and apple are singular countable nouns .
2-He said he will meet us in
an hour  .
note : an is always used for words which begin with a silent  ‘h’ sound .


Definite Pronouns
The is a definite pronouns. It is used to indicate a special person or thing .
for example :
1- I saw the film at
the Lido Cinema yesterday .
note : the name of a particular cinema .
2- The highest  mountain in the world  is Mount Everest which is in the Himaalayan Range
note : the is used before the word highest to indicate a superlative .

Reflexive pronouns.
  reflexive pronoun refers to a noun or another pronoun and indicates that the same person or thing is involved.  Reflexive pronouns are formed by adding –self or –selves to certain personal and possessive pronouns .

  After  we learnt about types of pronouns, Miss Zue gives we an activity. The activity that we have form two circle, the first circle is circle for boy and the second circle is form by the girl. After that, in the circle we should talk each other with people in front us. After 30 second we need to rotate  the circle and change the people that we has to talk. We must using pronouns during talking .
